PRINCE TURKI BIN NASSER BIN ABDULAZIZ, THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, PATRONIZED HERE THE PRIZE'S AWARDING CEREMONY ON LAST THURSDAY. THE PAPER SAID THE PRIZE, INITIATED BY THE KINGDOM, IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL PRIZES IN THIS SECTOR. THE PAPER NOTED THAT THE PRIZE WILL POSITIVELY CONTRIBUTE TO ENHANCING COOPERATION AMONG THE ARAB COUNTRIES IN THE FIELD OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND GIVING MORE ATTENTION TO THE PROCESS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.
