Prince Turki Ibn Nasser Ibn Abdulaziz, President General of Presidency of Meteorology and Environment, who is also President of Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers in charge of Environmental Affairs, patronized here on Monday the handing-over ceremony of Saudi Arabia's 4th Award for Environmental Management for 2009/2010, which was organized by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development . Addressing the ceremony, the Prince said," Emanating from the policy of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, which has given special importance to environmental affairs, a royal approval has been issued on the program of the Award every two years to be an extension of the continuing support provided by the Saudi Government to environmental issues at Arab and Islamic arenas.'' The Prince, then, handed over prizes to the winners from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and Lebanon.
