U.N. SECRETARY GENERAL KOFI ANNAN WILL VISIT FIVE MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES INCLUDING SYRIA, LEBANON, PALESTINE, EGYPT AND ISRAEL. A STATEMENT RELEASED BY THE UN'S OFFICE IN AMMAN SAID ANNAN WILL REVIEW WITH THE OFFICIALS OF THESE COUNTRIES MEANS OF IMPLEMENTING THE RESOLUTION 1701, ISSUED BY THE UN'S SECURITY COUNCIL PERTAINING TO ENDING MILITARY OPERATIONS BETWEEN THE LEBANESE ISLAMIC RESISTANCE AND ISRAEL.
