The army killed four suspected infiltrators Wednesday in a gunbattle after they illegally crossed into the Indian portion of Kashmir from Pakistani territory, an army officer said. The army intercepted the infiltrators in the Machil sector on the Indian side of the cease-fire line dividing Kashmir between the two countries, said Col. B.B. Singh, an army spokesman was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.
