BUSH WAS GREETED BY AUSTRIAN CHANCELLOR WOLFGANG SCHUESSEL, CURRENT PRESIDENT OF THE EU COUNCIL, AND FOREIGN MINISTER URSULA PLASSNIK, AS AIR FORCE ONE TOUCHED DOWN AT VIENNA'S SCHWECHAT AIRPORT AT ABOUT 9:10 P.M. BUSH'S WIFE LAURA AND SECRETARY OF STATE CONDOLEEZZA RICE ARE ACCOMPANYING BUSH ON THE 21-HOUR VISIT TO THE AUSTRIAN CAPITAL. AFTER HIS ARRIVAL, BUSH HEADED TOWARDS THE CITY-CENTRE IN A LARGE CONVOY ON A 20-KILOMETRE STRETCH OF MOTORWAY, EMPTIED OF ALL OTHER TRAFFIC IN A HUGE SECURITY OPERATION.
