The General Secretariat of the Muslim World League (MWL) will organize, in cooperation with the Islamic center in Colombo, a cultural seminar under the title of 'Coexistence in Islam' on July 7-9, 2006, under the patronage of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse. Dr Abdullah Bin Abdul-Mohsen Al-Turki, the MWL's Secretary General said the organization of the seminar comes within the framework of the League's activities to enable people get acquainted with the proper principles of Islam, the principles of coexistence in Islam, human rights in Islam as well as its call for cooperation among human societies. He noted that the MWL has assigned a number of researchers and academicians to prepare working papers for the seminar.
