Secretary General of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdulrahman Al-Atiyyah held talks here today with Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul-Ilah Al-Khateeb and a number of senior officials. The talks focused on aspects of cooperation between the GCC countries and Jordan, notably in economic and trade sectors. Al-Atiyyah is scheduled to confer later today with Jordanian King Abdullah II and Prime Minister Marauf Al-Bakheet. It is worth mentioning that Al-Atiyyah arrived in Amman last night on an official working visit in response to an invitation extended to him by the Jordanian Foreign Minister. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
