A CREW MEMBER WAS MURDERED ON THE QUEEN MARY II
CRUISE SHIP, POLICE IN THE NORWEGIAN PORT OF BERGEN SAID SATURDAY, ACCORDING TO DPA.
THE VIOLENT DEATH WAS OFFICIALLY REPORTED BY THE CAPTAIN OF THE
LONGEST PASSENGER SHIP IN THE WORLD. FURTHER DETAILS WERE NOT
REVEALED.
ACCORDING TO THE SKY NEWS TELEVISION CHANNEL, THE CREW MEMBER FROM
THE PHILIPPINES WAS FOUND DEAD AFTER A DISPUTE WITH A COLLEAGUE.
THE 345-METRE-LONG VESSEL CAN CARRY 2,600 PASSENGERS AND HAS 1,250
CREW MEMBERS. IT WAS BUILT IN FRANCE AND LAUNCHED IN 2003.
