All 257 passengers on board a Norwegian express train were successfully evacuated Thursday, after the train caught fire, officials said according to dpa. The train was entirely destroyed in the fire. It is thought to have caught ablaze from a snow shelter which was on fire as the train passed the Hallingskeid station on the main Oslo-Bergen line. The passengers were evacuated and reported to heading for Bergen, western Norway. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire. Two helicopters were deployed to combat the blaze.
