TWO PEOPLE DIED AND FOUR WERE INJURED SATURDAY WHEN A MODEL AIRCRAFT PLOUGHED INTO A CROWD OF SPECTATORS AT AN INTERNATIONAL MODEL-BUILDERS' EXHIBITION IN SOUTH-WEST HUNGARY, DPA REPORTED. THE ACCIDENT AT OCSENY AIRPORT OCCURRED WHEN A TWO-METRE-LONG AIRCRAFT BUILT AND PILOTED BY A GERMAN ENTHUSIAST CRASHED INTO A GROUP OF ONLOOKERS STANDING BEHIND A SAFETY BARRIER, EVENT ORGANIZER GABOR BIRO TOLD MTI NEWS AGENCY. THE UNNAMED CONTROLLER OF THE PLANE WAS VERY EXPERIENCED AND HAD TAKEN PART IN MANY INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS, MTI REPORTED. A TECHNICAL ERROR WAS SUSPECTED OF HAVING CAUSED THE FATAL CRASH. THE FOUR INJURED SUFFERED EXTENSIVE BRUISING AND WERE RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL AFTER EXAMINATION.
