The United Nations Security Council has condemned in the strongest possible terms the terrorist bombings that took place in Dahab, Egypt,according to a Presidential Statement read out by council President Wang Guangya. “The Security Council underlines the need to bring the perpetrators, organizers, financiers an sponsors of these intolerable acts to justice,” Wang said yesterday. The council reiterated the need to combat threats to international peace and security caused by terrorism. “The Security Council reaffirms that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats…and any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, wherever, whenever and by whomsoever committed,” Wang said.
