Bush praises Ghanian president for fighting corruption

US President George W Bush met with his Ghanian counterpart, John Agyekum Kufuor, at the White House on Wednesday, praising the African leader for his willingness to end corruption, according to dpa.
"President Kufuor's done a fantastic job for Ghana," Bush said. "He's told the people of his country he'd bring honesty to government - and he has."
Kufuor thanked Bush for his effort in combating AIDS on the African continent. --SP 23 44 Local Time
