Thousands of Ghanaian opposition supporters, including former president Jerry Rawlings, on Thursday staged the second march in as many weeks against a 50 per cent increase in fuel prices. The protest organisers the Committee for Joint Action, an umbrella group of opposition parties, said the West African country's cost of living was unbearable. Former vice president John Atta Mills, who lost against President John Kufuor for the second time in December last year, said the protests would continued until fuel prices were lowered. The price of petrol is now 6,666 cedis (about 73 US cents). ---SP 2357 Local Time 2057 GMT
