EU FOREIGN POLICY CHIEF JAVIER SOLANA WILL BRIEF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT ON THE BLOC'S LATEST POSITION ON HAMAS ON WEDNESDAY.
SOLANA AND EU LAWMAKERS WILL DISCUSS THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN ISRAEL AND THE PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES, AS WELL AS THE STRATEGY OF THE U.S. EU, RUSSIA AND THE UNITED NATIONS WHICH TOGETHER FORM THE SO-CALLED 'QUARTET' OF MIDEAST MEDIATORS, THE ASSOCIATED PRESS REPORTED.
'OUR POSITION ON THE FINANCING HAS NOT CHANGED,' SAID CRISTINA GALLACH, A SPOKESWOMAN FOR SOLANA.
