ISRAELI SOLDIERS SHOT DEAD A 16-YEAR-OLD PALESTINIAN AND INJURED ANOTHER MONDAY EVENING DURING CLASHES AT A CHECKPOINT SOUTH OF RAMALLAH, HOSPITAL OFFICIALS REPORTED, ACCORDING TO DPA.
PALESTINIANS SAID THE YOUTHS WERE PROTESTING AT THE QALANDIYA CHECKPOINT BETWEEN RAMALLAH AND AL-QUDS AND THROWING STONES AT THE SOLDIERS, WHO RESPONDED BY FIRING LIVE AMMUNITION.
