Rabat will host on June 20-22, 2006, a seminar on the international law and means for fighting terrorism. The seminar will be organized by the Arab Organization for Young Lawyers in cooperation with representatives of a number of international and regional organizations as well as specialized experts. The participants of the seminar will review issues pertaining to human rights, principles of democracy as well as definition of terrorism and means for its fighting. It is worth mentioning that Rabat-based Arab Organization for Young Lawyers was established in 2000. It is a non-governmental organization which aims at enhancing relations among the young lawyers at the regional, Arab and international arenas. The organization is concerned with emphasizing the independence of the judicial system as well as protection of human rights and public liberties.
