Irish President Meets Jordanian Prime Minister

Irish President Mary Mcaleese held talks here today with Jordanian Prime Minister Maruf Al-Bakhit.
They discussed the latest developments in the Middle East especially the situation in Iraq and Palestine, the bilateral relations between Jordan and Ireland and the ways to boost economic and commercial relations between the two countries.
The Irish President had arrived earlier today in Amman on an official three-day visit within the framework of his tour of a number of Middle East countries.
