Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam on Wednesday said that the visit of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-aziz would prove a bright opportunity to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries. In a telephonic interview with PTV (Pakistan Television) she said, during the visit global and regional issues would come under discussion besides bilateral matters. To a question, she said that Pakistan will welcome the assistance of international community and the friendly countries including Saudi Arabia for the solution of Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people. She said international community is supporting the ongoing Indo-Pak composite dialogue process. Pakistan is sincerely engaged in the process and its role is internationally being appreciated, she said. To another question she said the current situation in the Middle East vis-a-vis the victory of Hamas in Palestinian general election would also come under discussion. She said Pakistan would like both Israel and Hamas to adopt a flexible approach so that the peace process could be moved forward towards a logical end. On Iran's nuclear row, she said that Pakistan wants a negotiated settlement of the issue, adding that imposition of sanctions against Iran should be avoided.
