A minor fire at one of the floors of Al-Tahreer Telecommunications Tower last night caused the interruption of the internet services for most of its users. In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), a source at the general administration for fire extinguishing brigade said the fire which broke out in one of the rooms of the sixth floor of the tower due to an electric short-circuiting damaged devices of the internet services. No details have been disclosed about the volume of losses caused by the fire.
