Limited Fire Erupts at Gas-Powered Generation Station in Riyadh

A limited fire erupted at a fuel pump at 8th gas-powered generation station in Riyadh on Saturday morning, resulted in the death of one employee and caused injuries to three others while they were trying to extinguish the fire.
The Executive Chairman of the Saudi Electricity Company, Eng. Ali bin Saleh Al-Barrak, disclosed that the fire broke out at the pump while it was under periodic maintenance works.
