A bomb exploded near a
car carrying a government security official in northwestern
Pakistan early Monday, damaging the vehicle but injuring no
one, police said.
Mohammed Wisal Khan, his driver and two body guards
escaped unharmed in the attack in Himat, a village near
Dera Ismail Khan, a city in northwestern Pakistan, The Associated Press quoted local police official Dar Ali Khattak as saying.
