On behalf of Prince Abdulmajeed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah region, Fahd bin Abdulaziz bin Muammar, the Governor of Taif, inaugurated here on Sunday evening the second phase of the project of authenticating sources of the Kingdom's history, prepared by King Abdulaziz Archives Center. The exhibition organized on the fringes of the project displays a number of documents and photographs. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Fahd Al-Samari, the Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Archives Center, underlined the importance of authentication, and said it is an essential matter for preserving the heritage of the nation. The function was attended by a number of senior officials.
