Kingdom's sports teams results in Qatar

The Saudi Football Team beat here today the Palestinian team 2-1 goals winning the first competition in the Western Asian 3rd Tournament currently in progress here.
In a press statement, Prince Talal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Kingdom's Mission congratulated Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President of Youth Welfare and his deputy on this occasion.
On the other hand, Saudi player Jaafar Al-Baqir (69 kilograms) won a gold medal in weightlifting; and players Abdulmohsin Al-Baqir and Hussein Abdullatif, 69 and 77 kilograms respectively, silver medals.
Player Makki Al-Meberik won a bronze medal in a gymnasium and swimmer Badr Al-Muhanna, a bronze medal in 50 meters butterfly competition.
