The workshop organized by the International Agency for Combating Blindness for the Middle East and Mediterranean under the title "Plans for Wiping Out Trachoma Leading to Blindness in the East Mediterranean" within 2020 vision: Right to Sight initiative concluded its deliberations in Cairo today. Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of EMBACT took part in the closing session which was chaired by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi, Associate Chairman of the Regional Bureau of the International Agency for Combating Blindness in East Mediterranean. The three-day workshop called for, among several recommendations, the merger of Trachoma combating initiative in the sustaining development strategies and reduction of the level of poverty using unified systematic means depending on social studies as possible.
