The 24th meeting for the GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee, which comprises ministers of industry, will be held here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, GCC Secretary General Abdulrahman Al-Atiyyah highlighted the big strides made in the industrial sphere in the GCC member states. He noted that the decisions taken by the GCC Supreme Council had positively contributed to enhancing and acceleration of the industrial development in the member states. Al-Atiyyah pointed out that the participants of the meeting are scheduled to review a number of topics including the recommendations submitted by undersecretaries of the GCC ministries of industry at their meeting held in Riyadh on Sept 27, 2005.
