Geographic gathering opened

Prince Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, patronized here today the opening ceremony of the first national gathering of geographic data systems in Saudi Arabia.
The gathering is organized by higher committee of geographic data systems in the eastern region affiliated to the governorate of the eastern region.
Prince Mohammad toured the gathering's accompanying exhibition which included geographical maps, information and works about Saudi Arabia.
In a speech on the occasion, Prince Mohammad explained that the gathering aims at exchanging information, expertise and ideas to employ geographic data systems in implementing projects and services.
