Prince Mohammed bin Fahd patronizes medical conference

Khobar, Saudi Arabia, Feb. 16, SPA-- Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Region patronized here today the inauguration of the Ist Scientific Conference of Diseases of Cancer and Digestive System organized by the Eastern Region-based Saudi Charitable Society for Care of Cancer Patients.
Upon arrival, he cut a ribbon marking the inauguration of an exhibition held on the fringes of the Conference.
A speech ceremony was held on this occasion.
Addressing the Conference, the Prince stressed that the government under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier has spared no effort to push forward medical sciences to achieve prosperity and happiness for all.
Dr. Ibrahim bin Fahd Al-Shnaiber, the Conference's Chairman announced that Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz contributed SR 200,000 to the Society.
