US President George W. Bush has held a detailed telephonic conversation with President General Pervez Musharraf, according to an official statement. During the conversation both the leaders discussed the ongoing relief activities and the rehabilitation and reconstruction plan for quake-hit areas of Pakistan, said the statement released here last night. The US President reassured wholehearted US support and participation by US delegation in the Donors' Conference being held in Islamabad on November 19 and said that the US would take part actively in the rehabilitation and reconstruction activities. Musharraf thanked the US President for sending a large contingent of rescue and relief workers, along with necessary equipment, in the affected areas. He particularly appreciated the availability of the latest US equipment, machinery and particularly Chinook helicopters in the rescue and relief work.
