General Secretary of Jeddah-based Islamic Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Prof. Akmeleddin Ihsan Oglu has underlined the importance of dialogue of civilizations and cultures. His remarks came yesterday at his speech to the team of the governmental experts who are assigned to follow up Cairo Declaration pertaining to human rights. He pointed out that the phenomenon of fanaticism and racial discrimination is still existing against the Muslim nations. Uglu said the settlement colonization and foreign occupation constitute a form of racialism. It is worth mentioning that the team of the governmental experts is an open membership team and it is chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. After its two-day meeting, the team will submit its recommendations to the forthcoming Islamic foreign ministers conference, due to be hosted by Azerbaijan.
