Jeddah, Jan 19, SPA -- Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference Prof. Akmeleddin Ihsan Oglu has strongly condemned Norwegian "Magazinet" magazine's re-publication of cartoons blasphemous to the Prophet (peace be upon him) after they were published by the Danish daily newspaper Jyllands-Posten.
In a press statement, the Secretary General warned of the negative impact of insulting Islam on dialogue among civilizations, religions and cultures.
He said that such anti-Islamic acts are against free speech and press as well as international values and principles.
