The Secretary General and Executive Chairman of Arab-British Commerce Chamber Dr. Mohammed Al-Simadi has commended the strength of the Saudi economy, noting that this economy is considered as the greatest one among the economies in the region and oil producing countries. In a press conference held here today before his tour, along with the Chamber's Chairman Sir Roger Tomex, of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait, he pointed out that the tour aims at briefing economic officials on the Chamber's works on developing and enhancing trade and investment and on transferring technology between Arab Gulf countries and Britain. We will be informed by Arab Gulf officials of their economic orientation, investment climate and available projects at present and in the near future, he said. Dr. Al-Simadi noted that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will hold two economic forums in Manchester and Edinborough next January, adding that a number of Saudi officials and businessmen will take part in the forums. He indicated that the Chamber will set up an information center to provide reliable data on various economic spheres.
