Pakistan has condemned the bomb blasts at three hotels in Jordanian capital, Amman. "The Government of Pakistan condemns the heinous acts of terrorism in Amman in the strongest terms, which caused death and injury to a large number of innocent people," a Pakistan foreign office statement said. In their condolence messages addressed to the leadership in Jordan, President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz conveyed their deep sense of sorrow at the loss of lives as a result of the bomb blasts at three hotels, it added. While conveying these sentiments to the government and the brotherly people of Jordan, the president and the prime minister expressed their resolve to stand in solidarity with the people of Jordan at these trying moments and reiterated their commitment to continue fight against terrorism.
