The Riyadh-based Gulf Cooperation Council secretariat general has condemned in the strongest words the terrorist attacks which took place in the Jordanian capital of Amman, killing several innocents. In a statement issued in Riyadh today, the GCC said it also supports all the measures taken by the Jordanian authorities to secure the safety of its people, noting that terrorist attacks totally contradict with the values and concepts of religion. The statement also said the GCC member states share strong position against violence, extremism and terrorism in all their forms. The GCC secretariat general offered its condolences to the families of the victims of that terrorist act.
