The Arab League condemned here today the terrorist attack in Boumerdas, 60km east of Algiers, which claimed the lives of dozens of young Algerian people at the National Gendarmerie Academy of Issers. A statement released here today by the Arab League General Secretariat said "the League calls on the international community to exert concerted efforts to develop an international strategy to combat such destructive acts and punish the perpetrators and instigators." The Arab League expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and all Algerian people, affirming solidarity with the Republic of Algeria in the face of few misguided ones who have become terrorists and murderers of the innocent people and threaten the stability of Algeria.
