Abdulrahman bin Hamad Alatiyyah, the Secretary General of the Gulf cooperation Council, strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Jeddah today. In a statement, Alatiyyah expressed profound resentment against such terrorist acts which aim at spreading chaos, killing the innocents and terrifying the peaceful people, stressing that such acts categorically contradict the principles of all religions.
