London or Singapore-Sydney route. The A380 test flight to Frankfurt, however, has been met with protests from environmentalists and from residents from the area surrounding the airport. In the build-up to the aircraft's arrival in Frankfurt, the environmental protection group Robin Hood rolled out a poster in one of the airport's terminal saying: "Flying kills the climate. Stop the development." The A380, the poster said, is "a petrol spin drier and a climate killer".
