The Shoura Council held here today its 36th ordinary session chaired by its Chairman Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid. At the beginning of the session, the Council listened to a report on the Council delegation visit in response of the invitation of International Republic Institute in U.S. in addition to Gulf Councils and Parliaments' delegations during the period from 4 to 14 Sep. 2005 with the aim of exchanging viewpoints and experience among members of Gulf Parliaments, Congress and U.S. officials. In a press statement following the session, Secretary General of the council Dr. Salih Almalik said the Council discussed annual reports of Ministry of transportation. Also during the session, the council approved recommendations of Water Committee and Public Services after discussing the annual reports. --SP 2135 Local Time 1835 GMT
