Ministry of Agriculture bans importing animals

the Ministry of Agriculture decided to temporarily ban importing cows, sheep, goats, horses and deers from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan because of anthrax infection until making sure of their uninfection.
Undersecretary Assistant of Ministry of Agriculture for Animal Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Sheeha stated that the decision was made according to the bulletin of the International Organization for Animal health.
He also stated that animal quarantines located in all entry posts of the Kingdom and other related government bodies were notified of this decision.
