HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks ended flat after a quiet week with investors awaiting fresh clues on the direction of U.S. interest rates and oil prices. The blue-chip Hang Seng Index ended flat at 15,165.77, down 56.12 points from a week ago. SYDNEY - The Australian share market fell, weighed by losses in the nation's top phone company Telstra and oil producer Woodside Petroleum, although a bounce back by large miners cut losses. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index fell 6.8 points, or 0.15 percent, to close at 4,468.1, a fall of 5.6 points from last Friday. JOHANNESBURG - Gold stocks lifted the South African bourse a day after the yellow metal pushed to its highest level so far this year, while Africa's biggest generic drugs maker Aspen added more gains. The all-share index added 0.26 percent, or 40.82 points to close at 15,890.19 points, advancing 123.84 points over the week. The All Gold index raced up 3.35 percent, or 56.49 points to end at 1743.67, adding 77.96 points since last weekend. The Industrial index closed up 19.66 points, or 0.17 percent, at 11843.
