The Arab Social and Economic Council, which gathers the ministers of finance and economy, decided at the end of its 76th ordinary session held in Cairo tonight to transfer the Arab Agreement draft for organizing passengers transportation on roads between and across the Arab countries to Arab governments for review. Dr. Hamad Albaza'e, Undersecretary of the Minister of Finance for Economic Affairs, led the Saudi delegation to the meeting. The final communiqué released at the closing session, also transferred studying the proposed sole window at the border inlets and outlets of each country to the coming session after having been reviewed by the coming Arab Transportation Ministers Council. The statement said some countries have submitted offers on liberating services trade. They are Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, Tunisia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon and Egypt. The finance and economy ministers also transferred the Palestinian cultural projects to the Alaqsa the Intifada (uprising) funds.
