A Continental Airlines flight from Houston to Washington was diverted to a North Carolina airport because of a threatening message found in the bathroom, U.S. authorities said today, the second such incident in as many days, Reuters reported. Continental flight 3006 was headed to Washington Dulles International Airport but was landed at Greensboro, North Carolina, where it taxied to a remote location and was met by local law enforcement, the Transportation Security Administration said. A Delta flight from Paris to Atlanta was diverted to Maine on Tuesday after a passenger made threats about a possible bomb on board. The individual in that incident is could be charged as soon as Wednesday.
