A suicide car bomb exploded at an Iraqi police checkpoint in Baghdad on Saturday killing at least five people and wounding 20, the police said. The bomb exploded at a checkpoint set up near the National Theatre in the Karada district in the center of the capital, according to a report of Reuters. No further details were immediately available. On Friday, a suicide bomber strapped with explosives blew himself up among a group of Iraqi army recruits in the town of Rabia, in the far northwest of Iraq near the Syrian border, killing 40 people and wounding 57, police said.
