The British Embassy confirmed Monday that one Briton was killed in the weekend bombings at the Egyptian resort of Sharm-al-Sheikh. The Associated Press said Embassy spokeswoman Caroline Alcock confirmed the death but declined to identify the dead Briton. A further 10 Britons were injured, a spokesman for the Foreign Office in London said. British ambassador Sir Derek Plumbly is in Sharm-al-sheikh along with a team of medial experts and British police. Hospital officials in Sharm-al-Sheikh said 88 people were killed in Saturday's attacks, including two Britons. Egypt's Health Ministry put the death toll at 64. Hospitals said the ministry count does not include a number of sets of body parts.
