Seven Russians have died and another 17 have been injured in a road accident in the south of Sinai in Egypt on Monday evening, Itar-Tass quoted spokesman for the Egyptian Health Ministry Abdel Rahman Shahin as saying. The consular department of the Russian embassy in Cairo told Itar-Tass that a group of foreign tourists was returning in a bus to Sharm El-Sheikh from an excursion to Jerusalem. The road accident took place 10 kilometers from the Dahab resort on a highway linking the world-famous diving resort with Sharm El-Sheikh. According to preliminary information, the bus overturned as the driver lost control of the vehicle due to the bad weather. There are five women and a man among the killed. The injured have been rushed to a Sharm El-Sheikh hospital and the bodies of those who died in the accident - to Dahab morgue. The bus driver survived the accident.
