President Khatami hails Saudi-Iranian ties

Iranian President Mohammad Khatami received here yesterday Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Iran Naser Bin Ahmed Al-Barek on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic assignment in Tehran.
Speaking on the occasion, Khatami highlighted the existing cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran and expressed hope that these bilateral ties would be further strengthened.
On his part, the Saudi ambassador lauded the growing Saudi-Iranian relations.
