Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland, renewed the stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the support of Palestinian people and their just cause. In an address on Monday in London at a conference entitled "the progress towards Constant, Comprehensive and Just Peace according to Arab Peace Initiative on the basis of Crown Prince Abdullah's Plan (of 2002)" and organized by "the Next Century Foundation" at the British House of Commons, Prince Turki affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries sought a comprehensive and just peace through Arab peace initiative approved by the Arab Summit in Beirut. He added that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict represents the biggest threat to the peace process in the Middle East. He stressed that the current Saudi stance did not change and that it had remained the same ever since the era of the late King Abdulaziz. He said that the inability of the international community to fulfill its obligations against the Palestinian cause led to criticism of its double- standards by many people in the Middle East. --MORE 1322 Local Time 1022 GMT
