A speeding commuter bus crashed into an oncoming fuel tanker in Uganda, killing seven people and injuring more than 20 others, police said Saturday. The accident occurred as the minibus was passing a line of vehicles on a highway near Mukono District, 22 kilometers (14 miles) east of the capital, Kampala, on Friday night, district traffic officer James Wakooli said. "Five people died immediately and two others died in hospital ... we expect more deaths," he was quoted as saying by The Associated Press. "We believe the bus was full of people at the time of the accident. It... had a head-on collision with a trailer."
