The attacks followed the abduction of Egypt's envoy Ihab el-Sherif, snatched by gunmen off the streets on Saturday. BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb exploded next to a foreign security vehicle near the Iranian embassy in central Baghdad, wounding a guard in the car, U.S. soldiers at the scene said. BAGHDAD - Russia confirmed that a convoy from its embassy had been fired upon on Sunday on the road to Baghdad airport, but said it did not believe the attack was a deliberate strike on its diplomats. --More 2313 Local Time 2013 GMT
