Special Fund for Overseas Pakistani investors in offing

Pakistan is considering launching of an
Overseas Pakistanis Investment Fund (OPIF) to allow small investors to pool their resources for investing in Pakistan.
"The scheme would be implemented incrementally and would be country-specific," said Minister of State for Labour Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Tariq Azim Khan.
Khan, who is now on an official visit to Los Angeles, was addressing
a gathering of Pakistani community, according to an official statement
released in Islamabad.
The minister gave an overview of the future plans being formulated
for overseas Pakistanis.
