Chaired by its Chairman Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid, the Shoura Council held here today its 20th ordinary session, concluding a debate on the annual performance of the Saudi Arabian Standard Organization for the fiscal year 1423 - 1424 H. Then the meeting started discussion of recommendations submitted by the Water, Utilities and Public Services Committee, underscoring the importance of paying more attention for environment health and for prevention of the spread of epidemics. Also discussed at the meeting was a report on the performance of the Department of Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, including the situation of human rights in the Kingdom. The discussion on the last two subjects will be continued in future sessions, the Secretary General of the Shoura Council Dr. Salih Al-Malik told the Saudi Press Agency.
